These strong, healthy nucleus colonies (nucs) are ideal for starting new hives or reinforcing existing ones during the critical spring and summer build up.

Each Booster Nuc includes:

A balanced mix of brood in all stages and food frames
Buckfast Queens, a calm, productive strain – ideal for UK conditions

All Nucs are sealed, making them suitable for vehicle transportation and come with British national DN4 frames

Boosters are taken early in the season and weather permitting will be available for collection from May onwards

COLLECTION ONLY!

Our 5 frame Nucs come in reusable but temporary correx travel boxes, these are NOT suitable for all weather conditions. Due to the lower evening temperatures at the time of year these are available we strongly advise transferring them the day you collect your Nuc.

All our Nucs will come with a sufficient amount of food however we strongly recommend feeding all Nucs and continue to monitor their food levels to ensure they do not starve.
